Title: The Amazing Spider-Man
Issue Number: 58
Release Date: March 1968
Highlights
- Ka-Zar and Zabu continue their cameo appearance
- Peter Parker's memory recovers
- Reference is made to The Amazing Spider-Man issue number 25
- Spencer Smythe returns with an all new spider slayer
- It's just a cut and paste story of Spider-Man fighting another spider slayer
Oddities
- How is J. Jonah Jameson not being held accountable for wrecking the city with Smythe's spider slayer?
- The spider slayer short circuits when it is in Smythe's lab because there are too many spiders there - If this is the case, since it was build in his lab, wouldn't it have short circuited the moment it was powered on? Not only that, but with how many spiders there are in general around the world, wouldn't it overload anywhere it went?
