- Kingpin calls, "the government" and works out a deal to address the golden building
- It's 2:30 AM, and Mary Jane can't sleep - her thoughts deep in what if scenarios of marriage, specifically, to Peter Parker
- Spider-Man heads deep into the collapsed gold building in search of the trapped patrons within
- Kingpin's men take over the fallen building site until the government arrives
- Charles Anderson tells Spider-Man to leave the site, but he refuses, saying he's going back into the collapsed structure to look for more survivors, only to be shot at
- The government shows up to dismantle the building, and sink all the gold in the Atlantic, less it be improperly distributed, ruining the economy in the process
- After saving countless lives within, Spider-Man overhears Kingpin being rewarded with golden typewriters for his assistance
- Angered by this, Spider-Man returns to the damaged building, and takes his own piece of gold as a reward
- No action, no villain
