Highlights
- An all-new Spider-Man series begins

- The issue picks up immediately after the events of Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man 100
- Spider-Man puts on his classic red and blue suit, but as he goes looking for his gloves and mask, the costume begins to shift into the symbiote black suit
- The alien costume fights Peter's will to get to the Baxter Building, battling his very mind for control of his body
- While Spider-Man struggles with his costume, the Vulturions attack
- Sensing the Vulturions want to kill Spider-Man, the symbiote attacks them
- The sonic ringing of the church bells rips the symbiote from Spider-Man's body
- In its last act, the symbiote drags an unconscious Peter from the tower, an effort to save the man's life, and then seemingly disintegrates

- Editor's Day Off: The white portion of Spider-Man's glove isn't colored in as he fights the Vulturions
