Birthday Outings, Part II: Reclaim Arcade

When thinking about something to do for my birthday, there was one thing that kept coming to mind. I wanted to relive those moments in time with my brother when we lived in Oregon as kids. Though it didn't happen every year, there were certainly many between the two of us where we got to have our birthday party at the local video arcade, Aladdin's Castle.

Sadly, there's not Aladdin's Castle around here, but there is a Reclaim Arcade!

For just $15.00, you can come in and play as long as you like. All the games are set to free play. Additionally, you can watch movies, play records, or grab something to eat, the food and drink being the only thing not included in the price. If you really want, you can also reserve a party room and host a true birthday with all your friends.

It doesn't look like much from outside, but once you walk through those doors...

We played for a couple hours, beating Time Crisis II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Smash TV, Double Dragon, and then just messing around here and there on other cabinets.

Like I said above, this place also has food and drink, and while it's quick and easy bites, their menu didn't sound bad at all. We, however, weren't there to eat.

Around noon, we decided we'd played enough and made our way back to the car to keep trekking down the road. Check back later to see where we ended up. Also, did you catch the prior outing post from earlier today? If not, check it out!
