Birthday Gifts From My Girl

As many of you know, I like to make special events last. I don't like to tear through it all, and have it done and over with in the blink of an eye. Well, sticking to this tradition, I didn't actually open up my gifts from my girl until today.

I really dug the Super Mario Bros. wrapping paper she selected, and it apparently didn't take long for someone else to notice.

Ever since we taught him how to open gifts, he's been a freak for them. If it's in wrapping paper, he's going to try and open it. My girl thought she'd be able to stave his needs with a gift of his own...

...It worked for a minute, but then he wanted more.

I let him help with a couple...cause I didn't have a choice.

It's impressive to watch. It reminds me of how I used to be as a kid. Just tear through everything.

There were a few that he couldn't help with though, lest they be destroyed in the process.

Got some cool stuff! A copy of the Todd McFarlane Artist Edition book, the Michael Jackson narrated Story of E.T. on vinyl, the complete Wally Gator DVD, a couple Spider-Man mugs, and some Red Vines. Good stuff!

I'm off next week and have several outings planned, including one I went on today. That will go live tomorrow on the Blog, and the rest will follow shortly after they happen. I hope you'll stop by to take a virtual adventure with me. If you haven't already, please check out the various posts from today, which include several outings from my birthday, as well as my usual Retro Spin, and a comic review.
