Title: Marvel Team-Up
Issue Number: 45
Release Date: May 1976
Highlights
- I laughed when Killraven said the year was 2019 - I guess the Martians lost their calendars for the scheduled invasion
- Abridged origin of Killraven
- Reference is made to Amazing Adventures 18, and 31
- Good grief - The story literally picks up where the last issue left off, with Spider-Man still back in time with Cotton Mathers
- Wonderful - Another time travel story
- The doom and gloom continues in the pages of Spider-Man - No surprise considering the time in which it was released - 1976 was saturated with film and books featuring apocalyptic events, and general misery
- Spider-Man and Killraven freely kill their enemies - This is possibly normal for Killraven, but so far out of place for Spider-Man
- This issue is summed up perfectly in a quote from Ghostbusters 2: "Very good Louis. Short, but pointless." - Egon Spangler
Oddities
- Spider-Man and Killraven fight the Martians in their nightmare state, winning the battle against all of them without it ever being shown on the pages - The only thing left is a stack of bodies when they come to - That's lazy, Marvel!
