• Braniac attacks Lex Luthor with the plan  to turn him into a robot, obedient to Superman
• Superman attacks the United States
• Hal Jordan leads an army of Green Lantern Corps into battle against Superman a lose almost immediately
• Wonder Woman leads a group of Amazons against Superman and loses as well
• The United States releases all of Lex Luthor's robot villains to attack superman; Doomsday, The Atomic Skull, Etc. (see issue 2 comments for a list)
• Braniac reveals that he was never working with Superman and turns his attack on the Man of Steel when he tries to cease the attack
• Story ends coming full circle - Centuries pass, and Earth's sun goes nova. In a last ditch effort, Jor-El and his wife send an infant Kal-El to a primitive world in an attempt to save him from their doomed fate - Everything begins a new

Low Points

• Lex Luthor defeats Superman with a one sentence letter which sends the Man of Steel into full regret mode for all of his actions - Lame
• Some parts of the epilogue seem silly at first until tying it all together at the very end

• We visit a museum where we're show a rogues gallery of failed villains created by Lex Luthor to deal with Superman; The Parasite, Metallo, The Atomic Skull and Bizzaro
• Batman makes his appearance
• Wonder Woman has become a peace ambassador for Superman
• Lois takes over as Editor-In-Chief of The Daily Planet
• Batman and Pyotr work together to destroy Superman
• Batman captures Wonder Woman, ties here up with her own lasso and then battles Superman
• Wonder Woman breaks her lasso to get free, but messes herself up badly in the process
• J.F.K. shows Lex Luthor the alien that crash landed near Area 51 in the 40's - It's a Green Lantern Corps member
• Lex Luthor puts on the Green Lantern Corps ring, knowing it's a source of power
• Freedom fighters dawn the mantel of Batman to rebel against the Soviet Union

• Batman is a terrorist
• Wait...So Lex Luthor and Lois didn't get a divorce? I'm confused by how the last issue stated this
• Batman blows himself up to martyr himself
