Highlights

- A couple weeks have passed, as made reference by a pair of cops who talk about Spider-Man being out of control for that period of time
- Unbeknownst to them they're referencing Kraven, who has shot, buried, and assumed the identity of Spider-Man
- Vermin grabs a woman off the street, leaving her unconscious body for what he thinks is Spider-Man to find
- He runs into a pair of police, and while one is being eaten alive by his rats, the other reminds him of his mother
- She manages to shoot him in the gut, but he gets the upper hand, licks her face, and runs away
- Mary Jane goes to Joe Robertson's house, intent on asking him questions about her missing husband, but after being welcomed in, changes her mind, and leaves
- Kravin intends on one more test to prove he's a better Spider-Man by finding Vermin, and killing him
- Kraven heads to the sewers and battles Vermin, winning
- As he carries him out of the sewers, back at Kraven's mansion, Spider-Man's hand breaks through the ground where he was buried
- Nothing's really happening, and the impact of the first chapter is starting to fade fast
- The last issue of Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man crediting Jim Shooter as Editor-In Chief - Jim was fired in April 1987 from Marvel Comics
