- The "Spider-Man" imposter turns out to be Ron Corbett, who is able to cling to walls through multiple suction cups attached to his suit
- The imposter Spider-Man robs a jewelry store, and when the cops show up, drops jewels down to them to frame Spider-Man
- Word spreads quickly about Spider-Man turning to a life of crime, thrilling J. Jonah Jameson
- A sick Peter Parker heads out into the night as Spider-Man to find the imposter
- Finding him, Spider-Man tails him home, but decides to catch some sleep before going in
- Ron and Bill are trying to frame Spider-Man because when he intervened in a bank robbery their father, Edward, was killed by the robbers
- The brothers have headed for the tram cars, and dressed as Spider-Man, Ron shuts the car down, and climbs out on top with a blow torch, taking one of the passengers, who happens to be his brother with him
- Ron attempts to flame Spider-Man with his blowtorch, and burns through the tram cars cable, sending his brother over the edge
- Spider-Man webs him, saving him, and then webs the cut line
- Spider-Man's name is cleared, but one person is noticeably unhappy about it - J. Jonah Jameson
- The epilogue sees Joy and Peter arriving in Dublin, with a cliffhanger ending of Joy pointing towards their destination, and a clearly shaken Peter
- Stories where Peter is hampered by a cold have been done to death, and they're always so lame
- The story is nothing but filler, designed to show a passage of time from point A to point B in Peter and Joy's trip from the UK to Dublin
