Highlights
- First appearance of R.M. Ingersoll
- The cover is no ruse, and in the very first page, Robbie Robertson is found guilty for concealing the murders of Tombstone for two decades
- Peter narrates a quick rundown of the history between Robbie and Tombstone, AKA Lonnie Lincoln, and how we got to this point, referencing events from The Spectacular Spider-Man 139 - 142
- Robbie's wife, Martha, and his son Randy try to talk to him, but he simply brushes them off
- Nick Katzenberg, the newest Daily Bugle employee takes photos of Robbie with his family as he's being taken to prison
- Seeing this, Randy Robertson leaps at the man
- Peter breaks them up, but in the process, Nick's camera gets broken, to which he tells Parker that he owes him $800.00 for it
- Outside the courthouse, Nick and Peter continue to argue, and J. Jonah Jameson (the Chameleon in disguise) sides with Katzenberg
- Peter's spidey senses continue to go off when near Jonah, and he doesn't know why
- That night, as Spider-Man swings across the city, he see's Kingpin's tower, and blames him for Robbie being in prison
- He decides to pay the man a visit, and not as a friendly social call
- While in route, he hears a scream from the subway, and upon investigating it sees a werewolf, which quickly vanishes
- Spider-Man checks on the man, and finds he's still alive
- As he swings him across the sky towards a hospital, he learns the man works for Kingpin
- Joy Mercado is outside of Gloria Grant's apartment, watching her, concerned about the new man she's been seeing
- While there, she sees a man climbing down the wall, and entering in through a window, but doesn't realize it's a werewolf
- At the Robertson's home, several people have shown up in support of Robbie, but it's too much for Martha, who breaks down after dropping a tray of sandwiches
- In his cell, Robbie too is upset, but says pushing his family away was for their best interest
- He's met by a prisoner who gives him a cryptic message from "the man"
- Reference is made to Spectacular Spider-Man 145
- Spider-Man makes his way to Kingpin's tower, and revels in the pleasure of telling him of the attacks on his men as of late, which apparently the crime lord was unaware of
- Both of them know the only person who could keep secrets from him is the Arranger, and when Spidey leaves, the man is immediately called into the Kingpin's office
- Gloria Grant awakens the next morning to a nude Eduardo Lobo asleep on her floor
- When she questions him, he tells her there are things about him she can't know yet
- He does, however, ask her for the Bugle's files on Kingpin
- At his sentencing, Robbie gets three years in prison
- In prison, Tombstone has pulled strings to get his cell right next to Robbie's

Oddities
- Editor's Day Off: Robbie Robertson is referred to as both Robby and Robbie in the same panel
- While both are technically acceptable, for the record, it's Robbie
- This issue would get very confusing fast to a new reader, as the very next panel refers to Robbie as Joe Robertson, which is also technically his name, but come on, pick a lane
- Spider-Man doesn't believe he saw a werewolf in the subway, and instead tries to play it off as someone in a costume
- But he's seen werewolves before - Man-Wolf, and even a werewolf in Marvel Team-Up issue 93
