  • When the symbiote tries to control Franklin's mind, it senses something horrible and uncontrollable within the child, it withdraws, and is relieved that at that moment Sue Storm enters the room to retrieve the boy
  • As Harry Osborn thinks to himself, he worries that Osborn Manufacturing is in serious trouble
  • Hobgoblin crashes through the window of Harry's office, but Spider-Man suddenly appears to do battle with the villain
  • It's only been a week since the wedding, and J. Jonah Jameson is already back in the office from his honeymoon
  • The story tries to weave a mystery that Ned Leeds and Lance Bannon could all be the Hobgoblin
  • Hobgoblin tries to throw a pumpkin bomb at Spider-Man, but the hero webs it to his hand, forcing the villain to dunk his hand in a toilet to extinguish it
  • The Rose's men kidnap Liz Osborn, and Mary Jane Watson
  • Harry tries to stop the kidnapping, but gets hit in the face, this awakens something in him, and he mutters that the Hobgoblin will regret crossing the son of the Green Goblin
