- Hal Jordan leads an army of Green Lantern Corps into battle against Superman a lose almost immediately
- Wonder Woman leads a group of Amazons against Superman and loses as well
- The United States releases all of Lex Luthor's robot villains to attack superman; Doomsday, The Atomic Skull, Etc. (see issue 2 comments for a list)
- Braniac reveals that he was never working with Superman and turns his attack on the Man of Steel when he tries to cease the attack
- Story ends coming full circle - Centuries pass, and Earth's sun goes nova. In a last ditch effort, Jor-El and his wife send an infant Kal-El to a primitive world in an attempt to save him from their doomed fate - Everything begins a new
- Lex Luthor defeats Superman with a one sentence letter which sends the Man of Steel into full regret mode for all of his actions - Lame
- Some parts of the epilogue seem silly at first until tying it all together at the very end
