Low Points
  • Debra Whitman continues to pine over the thought of being with Peter Parker, and it makes me hate her all the more - Seriously, Biff Rifkin deserves better then her
Oddities
  • Goldbug says he needs to live a life of crime to steel gold because that's what he uses to aid him in his life of crime - Maybe find a different shtick?
  • Goldbugs gun shots gold dust at his targets which turns them into gold - That just seems unnecessarily expensive
  • Editor's Day Off: Goldbug says, "Thought she was a another rent-a-cop.
  • Despite being blasted by the Maggia, this issue isn't noted as the death of Goldbug

Highlights
  • Medusa of the Inhumans appears for the first time in Spider-Man
  • Medusa has come to see if mankind still fears her people, or if they can now return to Earth
  • Peter Parker is on the outs with Gwen Stacy after the events of the last story arc in issues 59 through 61
  • Norman Osborn continues to be plagued by his fragmented memory of Green Goblin and Spider-Man
Low Points
  • The plot of the story revolves around Medusa becoming the next model for Heavenly Hair Spray
  • Montgomery G. Bliss makes up a story about Medusa destroying his photography studio to Spider-Man when Medusa walks out on her photo shoot
  • Incredibly stupid story, almost a waste of time to read, if not for the Norman Osborn section
Oddities
  • Spider-Man swings into action with a punch first, ask questions later mentality
  • Medusa is just as hard headed as Spider-Man, unwilling to explain her side of the story, so instead they fight
