Star Wars turned 30, and Hasbro launched into a full fledge campaign to dominate the toy isle. Over 80 basic figures, a ton of sub set figures, and an entire closet worth of vehicles were produced for the 30th Anniversary Collection. The series which ran from 2007 to the first few months of 2008 was large enough to overwhelm even the most seasoned collector.
COIN ALBUM
Much like the vintage Power of the Force line, the 30th Anniversary Collection showcased figures packed with coins. However, unlike the PotF line, Hasbro planned ahead for collector's who would soon be swimming in coins, and release a coin album book. To sweeten the deal, the coin album came packed with the first figure in the line, Darth Vader.

Disney released a Cantina Band Member set exclusively at their park. Each figure was sculpted the exact same, but came with a different instrument. Because they weren't distinguished with names, you would need to pay close attention when compiling a set.

COMIC PACKS
Comic two packs were an interesting concpet both in regards to what they were, and also with the unique figures they came packed with. They were a continuation of sorts of the expanded universe line seen back in the Power of the Force II series. It was in no way meant to be a means to collect any one given series of comics as the issues were fairly random.
