Well, today's the day. Ye old birthday. It all kicks off with today's countdown CD, and boy oh boy, is it appropriate. Life is one heck of a Fantastic Voyage!
Day 16
Lakeside's title track was a party anthem of 1980, and experienced a whole other level of resurgence when it was covered by Coolio in 1994. Beginning with their 1978 album, the group would make it a point to showcase a different theme from cover to cover. This included anything from cowboys, to merry men, to genies, and so forth. 1980's cover continued this tradition with the group dawning pirate garb.
