***UPDATE***
Prize has been claimed. Congrats again to Action Figure Barbecue! This will ship out soon.
Congratulations to everyone who participated. Don't be disheartened if you didn't win. We have plenty more contests to go, including this months! October's prize is the all new, Hasbro Pulsecon 2020 Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy Quintesson Pit of Judgement! Wow, that's a lot of words!
This is in hand and ready to go to one lucky winner!
How do you win? Simple. Leave a comment with your favorite obscure Transformer character with a short message as to why. Key word in that was "obscure". Tell everyone about that character that doesn't stand in the spotlight all the time. They can be from the cartoon, toy line, comics or whatever other source material that is Transformers related.
Entries will be accepted as of this post going live, and through 11:59
PM on October 31, 2020. The winner will be chosen at random and
announced on November 1st, 2020. At that time, another contest will also
go live.
You must be eighteen (18) or older to enter this contest. The winner
will be announced at the beginning of the post for the next contest. At
that time, the person will have seventy-two hours to leave a comment
with their e-mail address, which will not be published, so that I can
get in touch with them. We will work out the shipping arrangements from
there.
Shipping is free and all entries across the globe are welcome. However,
foreign addresses will be responsible for all applicable taxes and
import fees on their end.
Good luck to all!

Congrats to BBQ ๐๐๐Thanks for the contests TB๐
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI must admit to not watching enough Transformers as a kid. To me, Warpath was obscure because I always saw him at the tail end of the ending credits of the original series but never in many episodes.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I remember that red tank dude! He was cool, but you're right. I don't remember seeing him in the cartoon much.
DeleteAlways thought Airachnid was cool. Female villain Decepticon. I have very limited Transformers knowledge except for the main characters, the Dinobots, and Insecticons. Years later I was wondering if there were other female Transformers besides Arcee and found Airachnid. Cool looking character.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this character before. Looks kind of creepy.

ReplyDeleteThanks Matt! I'm very excited! Thanks for the contest!
ReplyDeleteNo worries. Enjoy the figures, and don't forget to enter for a chance to win again with this all new contest!
DeleteI've never been a big Transformers fan. My favorite would be... umm.. Megan Fox, I guess? Oh, wait, obscure? haha I actually had a Transformer as a kid that I thought was a spider of sorts but, looking back, I think he's a sea creature. Nautilator? He's one of the seacons.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of Transformers either. But Megan Fox would not be on my list of wants. She looks like if you touched her you would get sticky.
DeleteI second (or third) that emotion. Yes - Megan Fox.
DeleteI never saw Jonah Hex at all but I definitely bought that Megan Fox figure they made for the line back about 10 years ago. Haha.
DeleteTerrible movie.
DeleteYeah, I'd never heard anything good about it for sure.
DeleteOnce upon a time, I'd have said Arcee, but she's kind of left obscurity in recent years.
ReplyDeleteFollowing that, I'd consider the '86 Minibots -- primarily Swerve, Outback, Tailgate, and Pipes, though Swerve and Tailgate got their spotlight more recently thanks to the IDW comics, and Outback as well.
Steeljaw... he was in the movie and season 3, so probably not obscure enough.
I guess I'll say Polar Claw from Beast Wars, since I do like bears.
All great choices!
ReplyDeleteMy choice has to be Beast Wars' Spittor because my faves from G1 aren't obscure imo :Quintesson, Hot Rod/Todimus, Arcee, and Galvatron!) I choose Spittor because not only is he from Beast Wars (my fave version of TF), but he's a frog and I love frogs! Always loved him ever since he came out and even the Transmetals version is pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteA frog Transformer? That sounds right up your alley!
DeleteI have a centimental attachment to the character Circuit Breaker. She was featured on the cover of Transformers #9 from Marvel that was released in October 1985. The reason being is that this was one of the first comics I ever owned and my very first Transformers comic. Circuit Breaker was a computer genius named Josie Beller who was paralyzed during Decepticon attack. She developed a cybernetic suit that allowed her to walk again and it also gave her the ability to mess with robot circuitry. As far as I know she only made a few appearances in the Marvel comics including the Secret Wars II crossover event!!
ReplyDeleteTechnically a human, but we'll accept that answer. Great character!
DeleteGreat post and responses. Have not heard of many of these characters.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. I don't know much about Transformers in general.
